Concept design
When Romarc was approached to design the new location of Face Cosmetic Surgery, the owner was looking for a design unlike anything in the industry had seen. The mandate was to design a space that felt more like a boutique hotel lobby than a clinic. To achieve this objective a rich plate of materials had been deployed including brass, dark and light blue fabrics, Carrara marble and antique stain glass. As an inspiration, the art Deco motifs and modern art patterns were involved in the design. The waiting area is highlighted by a bold screen feature that wraps the ceiling and peels away from the wall to create a privacy screen as the main design feature that reflects all skin colour tones. This provides discretion for the patrons while allowing red to peach colour reflected light to flood the space as a contrast to blue grey atmosphere and this idea also been carried through the consultation room as well. The operating room is fully appointed with the latest surgical equipment and technology, yet its design complements the rest of the space in the clinic
