Occupying the first floor of a restored heritage building this restaurant space needed some major interior and some architectural upgrades to establish a new benchmark for upscale dining in Colombo. The interior is of the Next hotel bar and the restaurant break away from the current restaurant design, with each space in the restaurant taking cues from various rooms of a high-end home.  The design uses a mix of traditional and contemporary elements in a lighter colour palette instead of the traditional dark with a pop of bright colours to create a feeling of laid-back luxury. Light and soft fabrics present a powerful juxtaposition to the glass and steel buildings that dominate Brisbane CBD.
